How to use the free inquiry brief builder at www.leetaiheng.com/tools/rfq-builder/. A useful brief separates facts from questions: it turns the specifications you know into an editable English buying brief and keeps unknown specifications visible. Every field is optional: material or product reference, intended application, finished width (mm), length per roll (m), number of rolls, finished grammage (g/m²), total finished thickness (µm), core requirements, delivery destination, and other requirements or a calculation summary. Each number is checked and written back with its unit; the number of rolls must be a whole number. Anything left blank is not guessed. It is marked "Not specified — please confirm". Worked example with example values only: foil laminate, 1,370 mm wide, 200 m per roll, 20 rolls, everything else left blank. Four lines are filled and five are flagged for confirmation. Every brief ends by asking the supplier to confirm the recommended construction, available dimensions, tolerances, minimum order quantity, sample availability and lead time, and states that all figures are buyer requirements, not confirmed supplier specifications.
